Features of the new iPhone 14
Since last September 7, the new iPhone 14 could already be pre-ordered, as well as its “brothers” iPhone Pro, iPhone Pro Max, and the new iPhone Plus. This new generation comes loaded with novelties, among which the battery, the camera, the disappearance of the “notch” in the Pro models, or the satellite connection for emergencies stand out.
Novelties to highlight in the launch
The most prominent feature in the presentation of the new iPhone 14 was the camera with TrueDepth technology, with an aperture of f/1.9 and 12 megapixels, which allows you to capture better photos in low light, with up to 38% improvement over the previous model, as confirmed by Apple from Cupertino. In addition, in the Pro models, they have decided to innovate by incorporating 48 Mpx. in the primary camera of the three rear ones they have.
As for the design, Apple says goodbye to the “mini” models with 6.1-inch devices, although it maintains the aesthetics of the iPhone 13, with the same concave edge finish.
The novelty has come with the disappearance of the “notch” in the Pro models. The notch is the screen window, which usually integrates the front camera and occupies a part of the upper screen. It is an element that manufacturers are always looking to hide, and this year Apple has taken a step by integrating the notch on the screen with a less intrusive system.
They call this system Dynamic Island, which acts like an LED bar that changes according to the notifications.
Another exciting feature of this new generation is that it already has a satellite connection for emergencies, so it is possible to communicate with the telephone operator even when there is no coverage. It is intended for users who are in an emergency, or lost, although it is currently only available in the United States and Canada.
